The Fentress County Commission will have a Special Called Meeting on Monday December 11, at 5:30 PM. at the Fentress County Courthouse in the courtroom. The Topic of Discussion will be the Grimsley Fire Department.
The Fentress County Sheriff Committee will meet on Tuesday December 12, at 5:00 PM. at the Justice Center. The Topics of Discussion will be what the Jail needs. An update on the current number of prisoners at this time and Comp time.

Friday , April 28th at South Fentress Park at 9:A.M. The District Attorney’s office will be hosting the 3rd Annual Walk for Victims across the Eighth Judicial District during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, April 24th- 28.
The National Day of Prayer gathering will be at noon on Thursday May 4th at the Fentress County Courthouse.
Union bank will again sponsor its Annual Community Art Show. It will be held at the bank on Friday, May 5th from 9-5:00 pm. Community Choir Concerts on Sunday and Monday May 7th and 8th
The Community Choir will present their final concerts under the direction of Mr. David Chambers on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. and Monday at 7:00 p.m. Both concerts will take place in the Allardt Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited to come out and thank David for his dedication to the choir for over thirty years. The concert is free to the public due to the generous support the local banks provided over the years.
